How simulator sessions work

Tele and Vent work the same way. They need an internet connection and a screen your learners can see, in the room or on a video call.

Any device

Start a session

Open the simulator on whatever you have and choose Start New Session. You get two links: one for the learner display and one for the instructor controls.

Learner display

Show it to learners

Open the learner link on whatever they will watch: a TV, a projector, a shared video call or their own screens. Learners get their own controls on it, such as the defibrillator and pacer in Tele and the ventilator settings in Vent. They can also type the session code into the box at the top of this page.

Instructor controls

Run the scenario

Open the instructor link on any other device, a phone being the usual choice. Change the rhythm, vitals or lung settings and the learner display follows with no refresh: within about half a second in Tele, a second or two in Vent.
